YOUTH SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

During the summer we offer a program, which is simply an extension of our After School Program.  It is a six-week program, which typically runs daily (Monday through Friday) from 9am to 2:30pm.  Because this program runs all day, we serve free Breakfast and Lunch (provided by the Office of School Readiness) to all enrolled youth. Again this program provides daily classes in the following subjects: Math, Reading, Computer Training, Social Skill and Writing.  We also conduct weekly visits to the library as well as weekly off-site educational trips (ex. Fort Discover Museum, APEX Museum, and City Government Tour, which included the Mayor’s Office, Police Department and Fire Department)
